Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing, process, timelines, materials — straight answers, no contractor-speak. And if your question isn’t here, just text us and we’ll answer it in real life.
Easy. Call or text us at (678) 675-5216 or email interiortransformationllc@gmail.com. Tell us briefly what you’re thinking about — a kitchen, a bath, a deck, whatever. We’ll set up a free in-home consultation, usually within a week.
At the consult, we’ll walk the space with you, ask a bunch of questions about how you actually use the room, and give you a real honest sense of scope, options, and pricing.
No. The in-home consult is free. We come out, look at the space, talk through your ideas, and give you a starting number — no obligation, no canned sales pitch.
Three things help a lot: (1) a rough budget range you’re comfortable with, (2) a few Pinterest or Instagram photos of what you like, and (3) any specific frustrations with the current space (“the island is too small,” “we need more storage,” etc.).
If you don’t have any of that yet, don’t worry — we’ll help you figure it out at the consult.
Definitely not. Most people don’t. We help you make selections as we go — tile, cabinet color, fixtures, hardware. We bring samples to your house, talk through options, and steer you away from anything we know will be a headache.
Yes — happily. We’ve worked with plenty of Atlanta-area designers and architects. Send us their plans and specs and we’ll quote against them, ask smart questions, and keep them in the loop throughout the build.
The honest answer is: it depends. A cabinet repaint plus a new backsplash might be $5K–$10K. A full guts-to-finish kitchen with custom cabinetry can be $60K–$150K+. A primary bathroom remodel typically runs $25K–$75K depending on scope.
We give you a detailed line-item written quote after the in-home consult so you can see exactly what each piece costs and adjust if you want to.
Always. Every project gets a written quote with every line itemized — labor, materials, fixtures, permits, dump fees, the whole picture. You sign nothing until you see the full number.
We hate them as much as you do. The only time we issue a change order is if (1) you decide mid-project to add something, or (2) we open a wall and find an old hidden problem the previous owner papered over (rotted joist, bad plumbing, etc.).
If a hidden issue comes up, we stop work, take photos, explain exactly what we found, and give you a written number before we touch it. No mystery bills.
Typically a deposit to schedule the start date, progress payments tied to clear milestones (demo complete, rough-in complete, finishes installed), and a final payment after walkthrough and punchlist. You don’t pay the final balance until you’re happy with the work.
Rough rule of thumb: a full bathroom remodel takes 4–7 weeks. A full kitchen remodel takes 5–10 weeks. A deck build is usually 2–4 weeks depending on size and complexity. A cabinet repaint plus backsplash refresh might be 5–10 days.
You’ll get a written timeline before we start, with weekly update milestones.
We send weekly photo updates — Friday afternoons usually — and we’re available by text any day during the build. If anything off-plan comes up, you’ll hear about it from us before you notice it on the project.
Mostly no, but we plan ahead with you. For full kitchen remodels we help you set up a “camp kitchen” elsewhere — a folding table, the microwave, the coffee maker, the fridge. For bathroom remodels we sequence the work so you still have access to a working bathroom in the house at all times if possible.
Yes. We pull every permit your job requires, coordinate the inspector visits, and handle any city-side back-and-forth. You don’t have to think about it.
You can if you love that. Most of our clients don’t have time for it, so we do most of the legwork. We curate options based on your style and budget, bring samples to your house, and let you make the final call. We have working relationships with the best Atlanta-area suppliers — tile, slab, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, the works.
Totally fine. Lots of clients have already fallen in love with a specific vanity or tile they found online. We’ll install client-supplied materials — we just ask that everything be delivered to the site before its install date and that any defects be your responsibility (we can’t warranty something we didn’t source).
Yes. We warranty our labor for one full year after the project is complete — anything that comes loose, leaks, squeaks, or shifts, we fix it. Manufacturer warranties on materials (cabinets, appliances, fixtures) typically extend longer and we help you navigate any claims if something goes wrong.
Text us. We’ll come back. A loose drawer pull, a sticky door, a touch-up paint spot — those are normal in the first few months as a new space settles. We come out and fix it, no charge.
